The Heart of a Thirsty Woman

Get ready to laugh out loud and cry with Lana Witt's The Heart of a Thirsty Woman. Its Southern drawl, black humor and engaging characters makes it a quick and very enjoyable read.
Josie and Clarence leave Kentucky and travel west to the Arizona desert. As a child she once lived in Arizona with her parents and an older sister. Josie is convinced that she will meet people In Arizona and California that are more in tune to the things she is interested in such as the teachings of Carlos Castaneda's don juan. She is also in search of her long lost sister Cheyenne. While she is passionately involved in this journey, her husband Clarence is not. This books grabs you from page one and takes you on a crazy ride as Josie pieces the fragmented images of her life into a whole picture.
